Archer Line

Archer Zucchero

ENHANCES INTERNAL MOBILITY OF PROCESSED SUGARS.

IMPROVES FLOW AND FILLING IN RESERVE ORGANS.

Archer® Zucchero is a biostimulant based on boro-ethanolamine, molybdenum and growth cofactors, which mobilises plant-available sugars for phloem discharge into sink organs. This improves the quality parameters of fruits, tubers and bulbs (weight, size, colour and ºBrix). It induces the formation of signalling molecules for the synthesis of sugars in source organs (leaf) and their subsequent translocation to sink organs (fruits, tubers or bulbs), thereby maintaining turgor and growth.

Archer® Zucchero also contains primary polyamines, which offer resistance to different abiotic stress situations that the crop may suffer and are precursors of key secondary metabolites in cellular development during reserve accumulation stages.

Action
  • Induces sugar synthesis and mobilisation thereof towards sink organs (fruit, tuber, buds or wood).
  • Post-harvest trees: increases energy and nutrients for bud formation and wood reserves for the following season.
  • Extensive tubers and bulbs: improves early ripening and flowering of plants, increasing crop fill and quality.
  • Vegetables and brassicas: guarantees energy mobilisation during fruit fill, giving firm, homogeneous fruits with a longer shelf life.
  • Fleshy fruits: improves commercial quality parameters (weight, size, ºBrix, colour).

Instructions for use

Archer® Zucchero is recommended for foliar application and fertigation.

Foliar application when targeting sugar mobilisation in already formed fruits that are at the final stage of development, or by fertigation when targeting growth and thickening of bulbs and/or tubers.

Dose
Horticultural and greenhouse crops
  • Foliar (cc/100L): 250-400
  • Fertigation (L/ha): 3-5
  • Recommendations: Apply 15 days before each harvest, especially during final fruit formation to ensure translocation to fruit.
Outdoor horticultural crops
  • Foliar (cc/100L): 200-300
  • Fertigation (L/ha): 2-3
  • Recommendations: Apply 45 to 30 days before harvest, especially during final fruit formation to ensure translocation to fruit.
Berries, grapes and other fruits
  • Foliar (cc/100L): 250-400
  • Fertigation (L/ha): 3-5
  • Recommendations: Apply 30 and 15 days before harvest, after start of fruit colouring.
Stone and pip fruits
  • Foliar (cc/100L): 200-300
  • Recommendations: Pre-harvest and post-harvest wood maturation and nutrient translocation
Extensive crops
  • Foliar: 1-2 L/ha
  • Recommendations: Apply before pod formation, or at grain ripening stages.
NOTE: These doses may change depending on the climatic zone or variety, so a preliminary test is recommended if no previous tests have been carried out. Avoid exceeding drip point. The volume of liquid to be used will depend on the vegetative growth of the crop. This product contains boron and should only be used on crops that tolerate this nutrient.
